Lou is the founder and director of DoPaw. She has a home filled with fur members, two Labrador retrievers, and three cats, who she shares with her husband, Sam. Her favourite things to do are eat pasta, go to Pilates, river walks with her pups, visit wineries, and snuggle in with her fur family binge watching her favourite shows. Lou studied at Massey University and holds a MSc (Master of Science) in Animal Science, specifically in animal metabolism and nutrition.
Oh, and she’s a big lover of pink! If you didn’t know already…
Sam is second in command at DoPaw and always ready to help out his wife Lou and the DoPaw team. His favourite things to do are visit wineries, play squash, hang with the pups, and learn to fly. Sam works full-time at Fonterra, so you won’t always see him around DoPaw HQ but when he is there, he’s giving it his all!
Bella is the head taste tester at DoPaw. Bella has a keen eye for detail and will not let any crumb or off-cut go to waste. She also insists on being on clean-up whenever a treat spillage occurs… Bella’s interest include eating treats, being a little nuts, swimming, and snuggling her kitty friends.
Honey is the newest member of the DoPaw team. Honey may be new, but she has lots of enthusiasm when it comes to treat making, packing and customer service. Always one to greet customers with lots of tail wags, smiles and licks! Honey says there is no greater joy in life than being around people, food, or in the water!
Mila was the first chief taste tester at DoPaw and a much loved family member. No treat could pass testing without Mila’s approval.
A Labrador who truly took her job very seriously! Mila has left her paw prints and legacy all over DoPaw and our hearts. A dream that wouldn’t exist or come to fruition without her.
